A lucky YouTuber managed to get their hands on the Galaxy S25 Edge and shared a short demo of it for everyone's viewing pleasure. It's a fully operational device, not a dummy unit, and through the video we get somewhat of an answer to an important question: how thin the phone is going to be.
Held next to an unfolded Galaxy Z Fold 6, the Galaxy S25 Edge doesn't appear all that much thicker. With the Fold 6 measuring 5.6mm when unfolded, there's a good chance the Galaxy S25 Edge will have a sub-6mm build (not taking the camera bump into account).
The precise thickness could be 5.84mm according to some reports, but it doesn't seem like that detail is revealed in the video, which is in Spanish. Thanks to the AIDA64 app, we do get to see some of the specs: the video confirms the phone features the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, 12GB of RAM, 256GB storage, and a 4,000 mAh battery.
The app also reports that the phone has three 12MP cameras. Don't worry: the AIDA64 app usually reports the resolution the camera saves images in by default, not the full megapixel count of the sensor, so the rumored 200MP main shooter isn't out of the question.
Of course, the specs probably won't be a major concern for prospective Galaxy S25 Edge buyers. The design is the primary focus with this device. In addition to being quite thin, it could also be considerably light, with one rumor indicating a weight lower than the 162g Galaxy S25.

We expect Samsung to showcase the Galaxy S25 Edge at MWC 2025 in the first week of March. Whether we will get to touch the device this time around remains to be seen.
