The Galaxy A54's variant for the Americas, Asia, and Australia, which has the model number SM-A546E, is getting a new software update. It offers the February 2025 security patch. You can read about the security issues it fixes here.
The latest update’s firmware version is A546EXXSBCYB1. Our database shows that the update is live in Australia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. However, Samsung could be rolling it out to more regions as we speak.
For those of you who don’t know how to get the update, go to Settings » Software update » Download and install. The new firmware is also available in our database. You can download it from here and install it using Odin on a Windows PC.
The Galaxy A54 is eligible to get Samsung’s Android 15-based One UI 7.0, which offers a redesigned user interface, new features, and smoother animations over the Android 14-based One UI 6.1 that the phone is currently running.
