This weekend, Samsung's new Galaxy S25 became one of the main attractions at the inaugural APIK free urban winter event held in Mississauga, Canada. APIK and presenting partner Samsung welcomed Olympic and professional snowboarders and skiers to perform daring tricks on the slopes throughout the weekend.
At the winter sports event, Samsung celebrated the launch of the Galaxy S25 series in Canada and demonstrated the power of the new flagship in clever ways.
For one, each athlete wore a Galaxy S25 smartphone, which captured 4K videos and brought the action closer to the audience.
Considering the freezing temperatures in Mississauga over the weekend, the Galaxy S25 proved to be a resilient phone once more.

Samsung also prepared a state-of-the-art pop-up space and the Lift Ticket Studio, where guests could capture their photos and experience the latest One UI 7 features, such as Now Bar and Now Brief.
In addition, Samsung retrofitted the pop-up space with an elevated chairlift viewing platform. This platform offered the best seats in the house, and the setup allowed guests to test the Galaxy S25's Nightography capabilities.
Lastly, for fans of winter sports who love digital artistry, Samsung created an experience where they could create custom snowboard designs through the improved Sketch to Image tool. One lucky fan got to take home a custom snowboard featuring their custom design.
The Galaxy S25 series went on sale in Canada last week. The base model starts at CA$1,198. The Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra start at CA$1,438 and CA$1,918, respectively. Prices can be lowered through Samsung's trade-in program. Bundle deals are also available.
