A community moderator on Samsung's US forums has responded to the rumors about the One UI 7 public release not happening until April.
We heard just a few days ago that Samsung plans three more One UI 7 beta updates for the Galaxy S24 series, with one scheduled to come out every month from now until April, but the moderator claims that's all speculative “and the number of Beta versions is determined by the need to refine and improve the software based on user feedback—not by a fixed plan.”
There's nothing new here for longtime Samsung fans: they already know that the company never releases an update, beta or otherwise, before it's ready.
But never have we seen such a delay in the public rollout of a major One UI update before, and with at least one budget Galaxy smartphone already running One UI 7 (albeit with no AI features), it's hard to take Samsung's word on this matter at face value.
Still, it's good to see Samsung finally providing something resembling an official statement, though the only way it can appease fans at this point is by releasing the One UI 7 update worldwide before the end of this month. That is unlikely to happen, however, as Samsung still has at least one more beta update planned for the Galaxy S24 series.
