Earlier this week, we learned that Samsung will launch the Galaxy A06 5G in India very soon. It will be a 5G version of the Galaxy A06 from last year and a rebranded variant of the recently launched Galaxy F06 5G. The leak also shed light on the specifications of the phone. Well, today we have one more leak about its feature.
On X, @yabhishekhd has posted images of what seem to be Samsung’s documents on the Galaxy A06 5G for internal training. It reveals the phone’s features and pits the device against its rivals in India to show that it trumps them in most aspects. It also compares the upcoming phone with the 4G version of the device.
Galaxy A06 5G versus its rivals in India
As you can see, the Galaxy A06 5G will feature a newer version of Android (Android 15-based One UI 7.0) than its rivals, making it the third Samsung phone to offer it out of the box. The first and the second are Galaxy S25 and Galaxy F06 5G. Plus, it will offer four new versions of the OS instead of two offered by others, a first in the price range.
The leak also reveals that the phone has four more 5G bands (a total of 12 5G bands), is thinner (measures 8.1mm), and supports higher capacity memory cards (1.5TB) than its rivals. Lastly, the images show that the upcoming phone will feature a 2MP depth sensor as opposed to 0.08MP units on most other smartphones in the same price range.
Other features of the Galaxy A06 5G include a 6.7-inch LCD with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, a 50MP primary camera at the rear, an 8MP camera at the front, MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging, and water and dust resistance with IP54 rating. It measures 167.33 x 77.3 x 8.0mm and weighs 191g.
